Ruben Neves insists fatigue is not to blame for Wolves’ Premier League form

Ruben Neves insists fatigue is not the reason behind Wolves’ start to the Premier League season.
Wolves confront SC Braga on Thursday in their Europa League group game, and are 19th in the table, with a win in their first five games of this campaign.
It’s been a hectic schedule up to now this term for Nuno Espirito Santo’s negative, but midfielder Neves insists Wolves possess the caliber.
“It has not been any simple start to the season,” stated the 22-year-old. “We have had extra qualifying games for your Europa League. [But] I do not think exhaustion has anything related to it. We’re all players that are utilized to playing a lot of matches in succession.
“Obviously we haven’t had the beginning that we have wanted. The reality is that the Premier League.
“We have a lot of confidence from the fans and by our trainer. We all know what we can do.
“We have proved in the past that which we are capable of. It is all about improving our game and get back to winning ways as fast as we could.”
Wolves Will Need to cope with matches against SC Besiktas Braga and Slovan Bratislava at Group K of this Europa League, in Addition to competing in the Premier League.
Neves says that they need to embrace the opportunity to play Europe.
“It’s been a gorgeous journey into the Europa League,” Neves said. “It’s a historical moment for sailors and we will do our best in this competition.
“It’ll be an amazing game for the lovers. They aren’t used to seeing Wolves in Europe and that I hope the atmosphere stays the same in Molineux.”
Wolves manager Nuno, who guided Wolves into a seventh-placed end insists that the return to competition for the very first time because the 1980/81 campaign – was a collective effort.
“I believe we should all be pleased, not only me. The fans, the team, team, players, they’ve contributed to it,” he explained.
“Let’s enjoy the moment but let us compete. That is more important – we still have a long ladder. We look forward to every game that’s facing us.”
After conceding five goals last Saturday Nuno states his side have to cut out errors and remain focused.
“We must enhance our defensive organisation – our shape, knowing the mistakes you cannot replicate. We have to concentrate on our game,” he explained.
“The method is always to concentrate on the next challenge. The second one is on Thursday.”
Wolves don’t have any fresh injury concerns before Thursday’s match at Molineux, together with Ryan Bennett after missing out from Chelsea available.
