Following Haringey players walked away from the pitch because of alleged abuse, the FA Cup qualifying match between Yeovil and also Haringey Borough was left on Saturday.
The goalkeeper Valery Douglas Pajetat of haringey said he was the victim of abuse and spat at.
The FA Cup tie was left in the 64th minute with Yeovil 1-0 up, before the home side left the area of play.
“Sorry for the late update but wanted to make sure we gave proper information,” said a post on the official Haringey Borough Twitter account.
“Game was abandoned following racial abuse. Horrendous afternoon. It must be stated that 99.9percent of @YTFC fans will also be disgusted by what’s occurred as far as we all are. One club, one community”
Both sides returned to the pitch after applaud the supporters and the match was abandoned to shake hands with each other.
