Former defensive end Arthur Moats, 31, announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday, via Twitter.
Moats played nine seasons, four with the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers and one with the Arizona Cardinals.
He had 16.5 sacks and 202 combined with the Bills and Steelers in eight decades, but didn’t play a snap with the Cardinals at 2018 later suffering a sprained MCL and being released in October.
The most memorable moment of Moats’ career came in 2010 — his rookie year — when he delivered the hit Brett Favre that ended his consecutive start streak at 297 games.
