Aidan O’Brien Can Allow both Lope Y Fernandez along with Monarch Of Egypt line up for the Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket.
Lope Y Fernandez appeared another Ballydoyle celebrity in the making after an racecourse debut at the Curragh but was behind the Charlie Appleby-trained Pinatubo in the Vintage at Goodwood and both the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He bounced back to winning ways in the Group Three Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh, and O’Brien is eager to keep him on September 28 – in Newmarket at six furlongs.
He explained:”We fell him back and he appears to better than seven – it looks like a thing for that stallion (Lope De Vega).
“I believe it might function as Middle Park next as that has been the reason why we dropped him back.
“We’re really happy with him and he must advance from this run.”
Monarch Of Egypt was another to impress at Naas on his introduction, since when he’s found that the Ger Lyons-trained Siskin too powerful at the Curragh.
O’Brien added:”Monarch Of Egypt will visit the Middle Park – that is the strategy along with him.
“We could go up to seven furlongs after this, but he’s a horse we’re excited about seeing.”
