AC Milan have fired head coach Marco Giampaolo, which makes his tenure the shortest of any manager in club history.
Giampaolo was hired as an replacement following a fifth-place conclusion meant the team missed out on the Champions League for Gennaro Gattuso, who resigned as Milan boss.
Milan have dropped four of the seven Serie A games this year.
AC Milan admits it has relieved Mr. Marco Giampaolo in the position as coach of the first team, the club said in a statement on its website. The team is grateful to Marco for the job completed and wants him all the very best to come in his career.
Media said Milan are expected to replace Giampaolo using Stefano Pioli, who has coached town rivals Inter Milan.
Pioli trained the Nerazzurri during the 2016-17 season but has been terminated in May of that campaign after losing 10 matches.
Its the training change in two weeks in Serie A later Sampdoria were abandoned by Eusebio Di Francesco on Monday by mutual approval. Di Francesco substituted Giampaolo in the Summertime.
